In 2003 I received degrees in physics and philosophy from MIT, only to find poetry progressively possessing me. Taking Rilke’s advice, I’ve since lived simply and patiently.

In 2008 I began submitting manuscripts to literary journals I admire.

In February of 2010 I gave my first reading, at the release party for the first issue of Artifice Magazine. I had a human mike stand.
